Braude heat exchangers are designed for use where aggressive chemicals used in steel and chemical processes need to be heated or cooled. All heat exchangers have optimum chemical resistance against corrosion caused by chemicals such as nitric, hydrochloric, sulphuric and hydrofluoric acids, and are inert so can be used where non-contamination is a requirement. The Braude temperature and level controller range is designed for control of industrial solutions and protection of equipment in corrosive environments such as those found in chemical processing, metal finishing, steel industries and marine environments

Combined temperature and level controller - Tankmaster MP - the latest version of popular controller combines the features of the temperature and level controllers, with additional outputs available for control of heaters, coolers, pumps and alarms.

Braude self priming chemical pumps are designed for pumping corrosive chemicals such as hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, nitric and sulphuric acids. The pumps are constructed from high integrity polymers which have high chemical and impact resistance.

The pumps provide operating heads up to 17m and suction lift up to 3.5m. A choice of three mechanical seals is available: Hastelloy C for general chemical service, stainless steel for less arduous applications or non-metallic seals for severe duties. Six motor sizes are available from 0.25kW to 1.5kW, all are rated to IP55.

Braude offer the Jabsco range of drum / barrel pumps. These pumps are ideal for use as a portable unit to transfer chemical from drum to process tank or to empty a process tank on completion.

Pump tubes are available in PP, PVDF or Stainless Steel to suit most chemicals found in the chemical, metal-finishing, food and general manufacturing industries, and in lengths of 0.7m, 1.0m or 1.2m.

Frogspawn Thermal Insulation Spheres form a floating blanket ideal for use on the top of open process tanks. The system consists of hollow polymer spheres which are usually polypropylene that are floated on the surface of the liquid to provide a continuous insulating layer. Workloads like jigs and components can easily pass through the layer. The system is used extensively by electroplaters, anodisers, steel processors and chemical manufacturers.

The spheres are poured onto the surface of the liquid in the tank and automatically arrange themselves over the whole surface giving a physical cover of 91% of the area (irrespective of size). The air inside the hollow spheres and the air pockets between them provides insulation. The spheres are smooth (do not have rims) allowing complete coverage of the liquid while held in place by frictional contact. The smooth surface minimises dirt pick up and allows awkward workloads to easily pass through.
